Q. Do you have to live in North Torrance to play with NTGSL?

A. No! We do not have boundaries & we accept all girls, all levels.

Q. What is the minimum player age?

A. We welcome players ages 4–14.

A. Hamilton Fields are located behind the Hamilton Adult School:

Q. How do I register?

A. Click the Register button on our homepage. You’ll be prompted to create an account or sign in to begin registration.

Q. Do I have to submit a Birth Certificate and why?

A. Yes. Birth Certificates are required to determine proper division placement. USA Softball also requires a copy for player registration.

Q. How often do teams practice?

A. Practice schedules are set by each manager. Typically teams practice 1–2 times per week.

Q. Will my child receive a uniform?

A. Yes! Uniform packages vary by season (Spring, Fall, All-Star, etc.). Spring typically includes jersey, pants, and socks. Fall usually includes a jersey.

Q. What equipment does my child need?

A. Players need: glove, cleats, USA Softball-approved bat, and a helmet with a mandatory face protector.

NTGSL provides balls, tees, and catcher’s gear. Additional gear is optional.

Q. Who umpires NTGSL games?

A. We use an outside umpire service approved by USA Softball. 8U–14U games are assigned umpires. 6U may receive a Junior Umpire when available.

Q. Who works in the snack bar?

A. NTGSL is 100% volunteer-run. Each registered family works two snack bar shifts per season. A buy-out option is available.

Q. Does the league have a fundraiser?

A. Yes. Fundraising helps maintain our fields and league operations. Each family participates in the annual fundraiser. A buy-out option is available.

Q. Are there off-season opportunities?

A. Yes! NTGSL participates in USA Fall Ball (Sept–Nov), offering developmental play.
